Did you know that each of the Five Buddha families represent a particular expression or aspect of the awakened state of enlightenment? Although we each embody all the five aspects of Buddha nature, it can be helpful for us to find our predominant expression in one of the five families. We then have the opportunity to transform any illusory states of confusion that obscure these innate wisdoms into our true nature of compassion and wisdom. Which family resonates with you?

The Vajra Family: the East is represented by Akshobhya and his Dakini Locana.  The vehicle is the elephant; the symbol, a vajra.  The color is blue; element is water.

Enlightened Aspect:  Mirror- like wisdom.  Precise and accurate response to what is perceived.  Patience with the unfolding of the patterns and order of life.  Pristine clarity and intelligence while maintaining perspective and integrity. Disciplined and strong without force.

Confusion:  Angry, self-righteous, overly competitive, critical, hateful and perfectionistic.  A workaholic who is controlling, aggressive and overly analytical.

Anger is transformed into clarity by mirror-like reflection of all phenomena

mantra:

men's or women's: $44
